Explorer Scouts and beyond
We do not have an Explorer Unit in Great Shelford, when our Scouts graduate from the Troop many move on to the Hitchhiker Explorer Scout Unit which meets at the Whittlesford and Duxford Scout HQ, others go into town to Newnham Explorers.
About Explorer Scouts
Explorer Scouts is for 14-17 year olds, and the Explorer Scouts plan and run many of their own activities with the help of the Leaders and so get a chance to do lots of fun and exciting activities, along side more thought provoking discussions. Many of them become Young Leaders helping with Colonies, Packs and Troops in the area.
